Boat Rush Privacy Policy
What this app collects, why it collects it, and what you can ask us to delete.
Boat Rush for Android is published by Gowalk. This policy explains the data used by the game, its advertising and notification services, and its support service. You can play without creating an account.
Game progress
The game stores your coins, high score, stars, upgrades and selected boat on your device so you can continue playing. These saved values have no automatic expiry. You can erase them by clearing Boat Rush's app storage in Android settings or uninstalling the app. Clearing this data removes the local saved progress. Android may back up and restore app data according to your device and Google account settings; manage those copies through Android.
Advertising
Boat Rush includes Google AdMob and Chartboost advertising, including Chartboost’s bundled Moat ad measurement code. Their software can receive device and advertising identifiers, IP address and approximate location inferred from it, device and operating-system information, ad views and interactions, and diagnostic information. These services use the information to deliver and measure advertisements, prevent fraud and keep their services working. Ad providers can share information with their advertising and measurement partners as described in their policies.
The game does not ask for your precise location. Advertising settings and available choices depend on your Android version and the advertising service. You can manage or delete your advertising ID in Android settings.
Notifications
Boat Rush uses OneSignal to deliver push notifications. The service processes an app installation identifier, push subscription token, device and operating-system information, language, time zone, IP-derived location, and app-session and notification-interaction information. This supports notification delivery and measurement. You can refuse the notification permission and continue playing, or turn notifications off in Android settings.
The game does not ask you to supply a name, email address or telephone number to OneSignal, and does not create a player account with these details.
Support and deletion requests
If you contact us through Boat Rush support page, the support service receives the name, email address, subject and message you submit. Messages are stored and forwarded to the support mailbox so your request can be answered. Support messages are kept as a record of your request. You can use the support page to request access to or deletion of information you supplied. Do not include sensitive information that is unnecessary for your request.
Use the support page to ask about information you supplied to us and privacy choices for your installation. Explain which information your request concerns. The game does not provide an automated control to delete records held by its advertising and notification providers. Advertising and notification providers also offer privacy-request channels through their policies. Clearing the game's local storage does not itself delete records already held by those providers.
Handling and retention
Game progress stays in the app's local storage until you clear it or remove the app. Advertising and notification records have separate retention rules controlled by their providers; clearing local progress does not set their retention periods. The linked provider policies explain their purposes, retention criteria and deletion choices.
The advertising and notification services transmit collected data over encrypted connections. Their policies describe their security measures and international processing. No method of storage or transmission can guarantee complete security.
